About AMS Music

AMS music was born over 20 years ago as a management company, looking after new artistes and bands, setting them on the road to success.

This took off so well that in 1986 we opened our first recording studio in boston, lincolnshire. This was the perfect solution for our managed acts to record promotional material. It was also a great recording solution for the public. We soon started to bring in songwriters, musicians and producers to help the acts with arrangements etc. The first album release on ams records soon followed!

We've released lots of albums from R&B, hip hop and garage to punk and latin jazz.
In 2002 we designed and built a new studio complex in peterborough – a massive project! After 2 exciting years we're finished and the results are fantastic! So impressive that we recorded two albums and a single for release before we had finished decorating!

As well as having our own record label – ams records – we also have contacts with hundreds of other record and distribution companies. Our graphic designers, photographers and management team help us give you everything you need.

We’ve also opened a music school in peterborough to teach vocals, drums, guitar, piano and more. So you can progress from absolute beginner to recording star! It is basically down to how much work you put in and how far you want to go!
